Addiction services change the lives of individuals, their families and communities. FDAP is committed to supporting people who work in addiction services because of the important role they play. We do this by by providing the highest possible standards for practitioners to guide their practice, and also to protect individuals seeking addiction services.
FDAP members agree to abide by our Standards of Conduct and Ethics. Addictions practitioners provide a wide range of services including: education and prevention; services to people with alcohol and other drugs problems; services to those affected by alcohol and other drugs use; and professional services to other practitioners. FDAP's Standards of Conduct and Ethics cover all such activities.
Please see our Complaints and Disciplinary Procedures for more details of what to do if you think that the Standards of Conduct and Ethics may have been breached by FDAP Members.
